What does Preflight check?

Preflight reads the submission header, column layout, record count, required values, dates, and supported file-specific rules. Findings identify the field or record and link to the rule source. Area and Inventory checks include duplicate external identifiers within the file; Strain checks include duplicate name/type combinations for the same license.

Which files are supported?

Area, Strain, and Inventory CSV files in the supported CCRS template layouts. Other file types, including Product, Sale, Plant, and manifest files, are not checked. You can find current templates on the official LCB CCRS Resources page.

What this result means

A passing file has passed only the deterministic checks implemented here. Preflight cannot see CCRS history, accepted prior records, license relationships, or hidden/server-side rules. It does not certify compliance and does not promise CCRS acceptance.

A match in supplied Area or Strain files does not prove CCRS accepted those records or that the prerequisites were submitted at least 10 minutes before Inventory.

Privacy

The checker reads files in this browser and does not upload or save their contents to a server. It does not use analytics, advertising, or account tracking. The hosting service receives ordinary web requests when you visit; your CSV contents are not included. Close the tab to end the session.
